Characterization of the Group
The Alfredo da Silva School Group, in Barreiro, is composed of two schools,. THE Escola EB1/JI José Joaquim Rita Seixas, teaching Kindergarten (pre-school) and 1st Cycle (from 1st to 4th year of schooling).

The main school, Escola Básica e Secundária Alfredo da Silva, has basic education (from the 5th to the 9th year) and secondary education (from the 10th to the 12th year).
